Pierre Morales is a Photographer, Director and Editor from Marseilles, France.
Nourished by the lights and landscapes of the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, he chose photography as a way to express himself from teenage, telling his stories through pictures. In his master’s thesis in photography, he studied the sentimental link that connects each of us to photos.
Travelling around the world thanks to commissioned work for international brands, he starts developing his personal work. He sharpens his style, the way he plays with lights and framing, the posing and staging of his subjects.
His credo: to create links among his images, to bring them together in notebooks, slideshows and films.
His visual language lends itself naturally to fashion and is only deepened in portraiture and still life.
Pierre enters the realm of moving pictures with the making of a webdocumentary called WebDog, portraying dogs and their owners (produced by Arte and Radio France).
With the evolution of photo cameras towards filming, he completes his education at the INA (Institut National de l’Audiovisuel) and starts directing documentaries.
Pierre teaches fashion photography and moving images at the IFA (International Fashion Academy) in Paris, as well as photography semiology and portrait at Mode Estah.
In each of his works, he invites the viewer to add their own story, to give free rein to their imagination. In short, they come to life through the energy of the desires they awaken.
